Supporting Families Southland – is a Charitable Trust, which provides Education, Information, Support and Advocacy services to Families / Whanau and Carers whose family member is affected by Mental Illness and / or Drug and Alcohol related issues. We offer a Free, Confidential and Mobile Service to families / Whanau covering Southland, Fiordland Lakes and Wakatipu Regions.

Our Philosophy...

Provide the best possible care, support and outcomes for Families / Whanau / Children and Young People, affected by Mental Illness, and /or Drug and Alcohol related Illnesses.

Our Coverage

We cover Southland and, through Supporting Families Wakatipu, Queenstown and surrounding area.

We also provide services in the Tapanui area where the family member affected by Mental Illness and / or Drug and Alcohol related issues is receiving care from Gore Community Mental Health team.
